Inspired by his love and passion for wine, Sophocles Vlassides realized a lifelong dream when he opened up the doors of success at his own winery in 1998. Since then, it has always been based on selecting only the finest fruits from vineyards that are located south near Troodos’ picturesque region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new building of Vlassides Winery was conceived and constructed by Heracles Papachristou. Located: Agios Amvrosios Village (Limassol)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The late visionary Akis Zambartas has left a legacy behind in the form of his family’s winery, which was established over 10 years ago. He rediscovered 12 native Cypriot grape varieties. Now under his son, Marcos’ leadership, with help from wife Martha, they continue on this tradition while producing quality wines using locally grown grapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tsiakkas Winery has been in operation since 1988 and is located near Pelendri, on the southern end of Limassol district. The cool winters with little rain help to produce quality grapes that are hard for most other areas’ vines. But it is perfect here due to its low yield per hectare requirements needed when making great wines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
